SUMMARY:International Spring Symposium
DESCRIPTION:\nDear ones,\nThis year we are at a cruel juncture. On the one hand, we had the difficult decision to postpone the annual International Spring Symposium to next year. This decision was taken from the care due to the coronavirus situation. On the other hand, there is a war breaking out in Europe, which moves us to create spaces for meeting, listening and respect.\n\nThe Spring Symposium of Expressive Arts has always been a meeting place for professionals from all countries, where we put listening and creativity in the center. In the field of expressive arts, differences serve to enrich us, art gives us the opportunity to connect from the feeling with the other. We develop and promote sensitivity as a form of evolution of the human being. We seek to create spaces of deep ethics and aesthetics, where the beauty helps us to transcend traumas and to create strong and flexible bonds among the inhabitants of this planet.\n\nThat is why it is especially painful not to be able to hold the Spring Symposium this year. We feel the need to meet, even in a virtual space: people from all countries, convening and defending spaces of beauty and listening.\n\nTherefore on April 20th at 3:30 p.m. till 5 p.m. we will meet online, for a brief but significant space of time, from all corners of the world, students and graduates of art therapy and expressive arts, as well as other people who resonate with this sensitivity to art as a way to grow and care for the community.\nThe program for this meeting will be:\n-Short introduction to the event and to the teachers\n– Community art\n– Group workshops\n– Sharing in the big group and community art clousure\n– Information about Spring Symposium in Barcelona 2023\n \nTeachers:\nAnna Buxaderas / Eva Bischofberger / Hjørdis Mair / José Miguel Calderón / Judith Alalú / Keshet Zur / Margo Fuchs Knill / Marta Canellas / Mónica Sorín\n \n \n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n
